About Me

Commercial and commissioned photographer Emma Drabble comes from a documentary background, having trained initially in France.

She has shot subjects ranging from architects and food producers to actors, farmers, dressage horses and even equine dentists. Operating a portable ‘pop-up fine-art studio’ on location, she says her work is “more than portraiture, but rather capturing something other – the living connections between people. The life, love and laughter.”

Naming legendary photojournalist Mary Ellen Mark as an inspiration, Emma describes herself as “a believer in the moment” and says that helping her to achieve that, her LUMIX G cameras are “like a paintbrush in my hand. Always a help, never a hindrance; always delivering some extra magic.”

"The LUMIX G range has little pieces of genius built in, from superb fixed lenses to easy-to-use pro-level cameras with live view. I work with clients who need images blown up to super size, or magazines who are always surprised by my EXIF data: Yes, it is a LUMIX G and it really does deliver."
